Portuguese for kids, through play
Every Saturday morning a group of volunteer teachers gathers children of Brazilian families for stories, songs, games and crafts, all in Portuguese. The goal is simple: that the kids feel at home in the language their family speaks, and proud of where it comes from.

Does my child need to speak Portuguese already?
No. Many children arrive understanding a lot but speaking little. The activities are built so every kid can take part from day one.
Where and when does it happen?
Saturday mornings in Edmonton. The exact venue and term dates are confirmed by email when you enrol.
Can I help?
Yes, please. Classroom helpers are always welcome, and you don't need to be a teacher.
